Jessica Wu

RolesFounder • Chief Executive Officer • Equations Curriculum Leader

Years with Camp AG2023–2026

As Camp AG’s founder and CEO, Jessica turned her love of Academic Games into a program designed to make the community more accessible to more students. After noticing a lack of diversity within the Academic Games community, she helped create Camp AG as a free summer program open to all. Working with Brittany Sayles, Rec & Ed staff, and the broader Ann Arbor Academic Games community, Jessica helped build the camp’s curriculum, schedule, and overall vision from the ground up. She also led both long-term planning and day-to-day camp operations, helping create a welcoming and engaging experience for campers and volunteers.

“Camp AG is proof that a small idea, built with care and community support, can create a welcoming space where more students can discover the joy of Academic Games.”

Jayeun Lee

RolesFounding Board Member • Chief Marketing Officer • OnWords/Propaganda Curriculum Leader

Years with Camp AG2023–2026

As a founding board member and Camp AG’s CMO, Jayeun helped shape the camp’s identity and expand its reach across Ann Arbor and into Detroit. She led marketing across AAPS, creating and distributing flyers that helped Camp AG receive registrations from every AAPS elementary school in 2025, while also supporting Detroit outreach. As On-Words curriculum leader, she helped create activities like the scavenger hunt and relay races. Jayeun also brought a strong sense of community to camp, valuing traditions like paper plate awards and the relationships built among campers and counselors.

“Every year, I count down the days to Camp AG because it brings together my favorite people in the world- from the unforgettable kids to a counselor crew that feels like family. The two weeks of camp mean everything to me, and the memories made each year stay with me far beyond the summer.”

Jennifer Tang

RolesChief Operating Officer • Propaganda Curriculum Leader • Instructor

Years with Camp AG2023–2026

As Camp AG’s COO, curriculum leader, and instructor, Jennifer helped build much of the structure that allowed the program to grow from its earliest years. She developed and refined Camp AG’s lottery system, helped shape fundraising goals and methods, organized camp and counselor schedules, and contributed to drafting the Camp AG Bylaws. Beyond operations, Jennifer also helped foster the spontaneous and welcoming culture that defines camp—where campers feel comfortable being creative, trying something unexpected, and connecting with counselors and one another.

“Camp AG has been the culmination of my work in high school—something tangible that I am proud to say I helped create. It is a place where I can both give and receive: passing forward the best parts of what I learned from my Academic Games family while continuing to grow from my peers.”
